WIP#1 – Moda Bake Shop Fairground Quilt in Scrumptious

I have an obsession with Bonnie and Camille fabric.  I love all of their lines.

When I saw this pattern on Moda Bake Shop, I knew that I would use that pattern for Bonnie and Camille’s Scrumptious.

Image I did make a few modifications.  I added another block style to the mix.  I added a framed bunting flag and reduced the number of pinwheel, stripes, and 4-square blocks.

All of my blocks are done.  I need to cut my sashing and sew the top together.  My bunting has been cut and joined together, I just need to trim the dog-ears and iron it.

Scrumptious binding

My goal is to have the quilt top done for my quilting appointment February 2nd.  I would like to have it quilted so I can do the binding at an upcoming quilt retreat.

I am linking to WIP Wednesday hosted by Lee at Freshly Pieced.

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

  5. This is my next quilt to make! How do you like the finished size from the pattern? I am making it for a toddler, so i’m trying to decide if I need to reduce it only 5 across and 5 down. But i’m thinking that I will love making it and just keep going 🙂
