I saw this pattern in the Quilty magazine (March/April 2013) and knew exactly which fabric I was going to use. The pattern is called “Chevron & On” and is by Megan of Canoe Ridge Creations. It was only after I made the quilt, did I realize that Megan works at LQS near me.
My quilt top has been done for a month or two and kept getting pushed further down my to-do list. Maybe the snow and winter weather inspired me – I decided to quilt it over Christmas break on January 2nd. (I also quilted my Gnome Herringbone quilt that day.) I usually commit to doing 2 quilts to make it worth my drive and time.
I am a binding procrastinator. It only took a week for me to get the binding on.
I don’t have a great full length picture of the my Sherbert Pips quilt due to weather. MN has been in a Wind Chill Warning all day. Didn’t think it would be fair to my quilt model to stand outside while I get the perfect picture.
Update: New photo has been accomplished!
