Do you have a quilting companion?

Carson is my constant companion while quilting.  He has is own little bedding area under a table in my sewing room.  If I don’t bring him downstairs with me he just sits at the top of the stairs and whines.  You might be asking why he would stay at the top and whine.  For some reason, our weird dog won’t walk down these steps.  Carson will only go up the steps.

He knows that he will get a treat once he is in my sewing room.  He is so spoiled.  There is a different selection of treats down there compared to the ones in the kitchen cabinet.

As soon as I turn off the television, he will go up the steps.  His time downstairs is done.

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

My dog, Charlie, is my constant companion while I quilt. He lays right beside me the entire time. Sometimes my cat, Fred, sleeps in my scrap bin, which I think is adorable. I LOVE your Tula Pink quilt that you just posted about. Amazing work!
