WIPs for Quilt Retreat

I am hoping to get lots of quilting projects done at the quilt retreat this weekend.

I made my binding for the last of the 4 quilts that I need to bind.

I have also completed another block of the Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery quilt.

I have 6 more to complete to actually catch up and do one block of the month.  Fat Quarter Shop is very generous with their BOM program.  They send you plenty of fabric to make the blocks.  I will have some extra material to make a few mug rugs or a wall hanging.

Hopefully, I can complete these WIPs so I can start another quilt.  There is something special about cutting into new fabric and starting a different project.

Hopefully there will be many upcoming posts about finished projects!

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

Binding is my least favorite part but yours look fun. I need to keep that in mind. Hope your retreat goes well. My sister and I are driving 700+ miles to meet our aunt at one in Texas. I have been but she never has. They really recharge me. I hope they do the same for you!
