2014 Finish #8 Colorful Christmas Fire Escape

Another 2014 Finish!  The Colorful Christmas Fire Escape quilt is finally done.  After such a long, cold, and snowy winter, I must admit that I am not as excited about snowmen.  My Colorful Christmas quilt has been done for a few weeks.  We have had so much snow, I had to delay taking pictures from my usual out spot.  The minky on the back has made it a favorite to cuddle with on the couch.

I have a thing for spotty binding.  Pulls all of the fabric on the quilt together.

It will be a few weeks before I get another quilt completely finished.   My next long arm appointment is March 23rd.  I will be doing my Country Girls Hexie Quilt and Sunnyside Mystery quilt.   I am a procrastinator when it come to binding.  I have 2 day spring break after the 23rd – goal is to get the binding on then.   If not, I will definitely find time in April when Crazy Mom Quilts returns to Finish-It-Up-Fridays.

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

I love it, love it, love it! I am so wanting to make myself a Christmas quilt one day. Love the pattern and the binding is perfect:)

    • I can’t believe you haven’t made a Christmas quilt yet! I have made 5 and still plan on making more. I have a weakness for Christmas fabric. These quilts coming in quite handy for MN winters.
