June Fabriholics Update – and I am out!!!

I can’t really claim to be a part of the Fabriholics Anonymous after my MN mini shop hop.  You can see all of my purchases!   I felt no guilt and didn’t think twice about the chance to shop at some new quilt stores!

I wasn’t terrible, but I did do some serious fabric shopping.  Although most of what I purchased was on the “ok to purchase” list.

Able to purchase fabric to finish a quilt:  I will have a post coming soon about how I am going to turn these amazing fabrics into a WIP after I saw inspiration at the MN Quilt Show.

Thankfully, this “experiment” is over July 1, 2014.

Fabriholics Anonymous pushed me to figure out how to use Instagram.  I have since used Instagram to sell fabric,  post pictures of my projects,  and meet more quilters.  The pledge also made me more conscious of what I purchase for fabric.  I did refrain from making some purchases, but realized I could justify almost any fabric purchase.  ; )

For those are going to consider attempting this for a full year… I wish you success!  I look forward to seeing the projects and hearing the stories of success.

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

I read about the project but soon was very sure – I am not yet ready for it. It is too early – I am still in the repression phase… 😉
