Polka Dot Bow Tie Baby Quilt

I didn’t accomplish that many projects this summer fall. This is one of the few!

I purchased the Polka Dot Patch kit off Craftsy.  These are the pictures from Craftsy.

It comes in a cute little zipper pouch.

The large polka dot four patch block comes together quickly.  The appliqué of the “tie” of the bow took a little bit more time.

Not the best set of pictures….

For some reason, my feed dogs weren’t pulling the fabric in straight. Not sure why! Jan, my Janome, was even in the shop for a tune up this summer while I was on vacation.

I did find a solution to the problem…. more information to come.

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

  1. Lovely quilt – I like the combination of small and large dots!

Can’t wait to read your “solution” to the appliquéd centers of the bow tie blocks. I was disappointed to see that was the method used when I bought the kit, which I haven’t yet started!
