If Queen Elizabeth played cards…

…do you think she would use Tula Pink’s  Elizabeth playing cards?

Tula Pink’s upcoming fabric line is Elizabeth.

Part of her marketing included a deck of playing cards of royals.

I was so sad that they were only going to be available at fall quilt market.  I was thinking that my only chance would be to pay an outrageous price off ebay, etsy, or instagram.  There was a deck that sold for $125 on ebay recently.  On instagram, a lady was trying to gauge interest if she sold hers.

I was home sick from school when the sale started.  I set my alarm to make sure I wouldn’t miss it.  Yes, I am that person with the beeping watch!  (I have one alarm set to go off when Fat Quarter Shop releases their daily flash sale.  Ok, I just admitted a some serious shame!)

I was one of the fortunate few who was able to get a set or two of Tula Pink’s Queen Elizabeth playing cards. Tula has signed and numbered each of the limited edition sets (250). They were sold out in less than 3 minutes.

Now that I have them, I can’t decide whether or not to use them. They look so pretty, but why not enjoy them? Oh, the decisions to make!

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.
