2015 Finish #2 Puppy Park Hexies

Another finish!!  Whooo Hoooo!

I was able to quilt this during the marathon long arm quilting session!  I went with a simple dog bone quilting pattern.

I made this quilt top at least 2 years ago.  It has been pushed aside for other projects.  I had the idea that I could quilt one baby quilt after another.  Getting the backing on the frame takes a bit of time – this was a time saver.

Here is 4 yards of minky on the frame!

I was able to snap a few shots in all of the chaos!

The binding was done and all ready to go!  I love striped binding!

Here is a better look at the dog bone quilting pattern.

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

So cute! The dog bone quilting was a great choice!

  2. Love your hexie quilt. Must be nice to have it quilted after two years. Did you know that you are currently a no-reply blogger? I would have replied to your kind words on my blog, but I couldn’t. 🙂

    • Not sure why I am a no-reply blogger! I thought I fixed that. Thanks for letting me know. I am trying to clean up my sewing room so finishing some WIPs are necessary. Thanks for the hexie love!
