I really like polka dots and bright colors for baby quilts. My Polka Dot Bow Tie Baby quilt was one of the few quilt tops that I actually finished this fall. Craftsy did a great job creating this kit with Riley Blake.
This quilt top was actually a recent finish. I was able to purchase backing for $6 a yard off Instagram. The rainbow dots were perfect for the quilt. If I wouldn’t have found such a great deal, I would have added this to the 4+ yards of minky that I used as backing during my long arm quilting session.
I finally have been able to get a few decent photos of this quilt. The lighting, cold temperatures, and wind has been making it difficult to photograph. Minor compared to other parts of the U.S., but I braved the elements!
Beautiful, colorful matching dots on the back!
