March WIP Progress

There has been progress recently!  Yay!  I am getting to completing more projects on my APQ UFO Resolution list.

I sewed together 4 backings!  I alway procrastinate backings, not sure why.  Well I was in a mood, so I decided to get some backings done.  I don’t do pieced backings very often, so they are really simple versions sewing 2 large pieces together.

I did the backings for:

Avalon Fig Tree & Co’s Cherry Candy in Aqua

How cute these cherries?

Heather Bailey’s True Colors Mod Dot in Orchid

Minky Cuddle 3 in Lime

Kate Spain’s Honey Honey in Blush apiary

I tried something new with my pictures, not really a fan of this attempt of photography.

I have to decide which quilts to long-arm quilt.  Then I have to put zippers on one of the backings for the March long arm appointment!

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

  1. Ooo, love the Minky! I confess to not having tried cuddle cloth but I’m willing! Does it shed a lot?

    • It doesn’t shed too bad. I cut it and then put it in the dryer with a damp towel. The dryer collects all of the lint! Pretty slick! Once you start using minky, you will want to use it all ove the time! 😃

Oh what a nice feeling to be working on all those backings at the same time! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment!
