Is that an empty design wall?!?!

A blank design wall photo!  I may not seem that impressive, but seeing all that white is quite an accomplishment.  It has been quite some time since I have had the pleasure to enjoy this blank space!

I suffer from severe Craft ADHD.  I start projects and then get easily distracted by new, shiny, pretty projects/fabrics.  The last project, Moda Scrumptious Fairground Banner quilt, was on this board for 9 months.  I should be embarrassed, but I am so glad that it is done and off the board.  Luckily there is a 2nd roller that I was able to use!

Next up on the board… Wiley Way in Art Gallery’s Sweet as Honey.

My other progress:   Modern Illusion rows are sewn together – just needs sashing!  I am a pinned, so it takes just a little more time.

Julie and I have a long-arm quilting appoint Saturday!  I would like to quilt the Modern Illusion Blocks.  So the top needs to be finished, the backing needs to be sewn together, and zippers added to one of the backings.

After you long arm quilt… what is the next step?  Binding!  I may have mentioned how I feel about binding.

Four quilts that are quilted and just need to be trimmed and bound!  (There will be 2 more after Saturday!)

Four of the six quilts that need binding are are on my APQ UFO Challenge list!   I am excited to keep crossing off  my WIPs/UFOs list.  There will be quite a few Finish It Up Fridays in my future!

Linking up to Lee at Freshly Pieced’s WIP Wednesday!  Thanks for being such a great host, Lee!

About My Pieced Life

I am in love with all things quilting. My sewing room has many works-in-progress and a large stash of fabric. I have big plans and lots of ideas of creations I would like to make. My wonderful husband supports my obsession and Carson, my Australian terrier, keeps me company while I sew.

  2. You know what that blank wall represents? Potential! The uncut fabric, the unsewn seam! Squee, how exciting!
